Javier Chau is an aspiring industrial designer born in Guatemala. Since his early years, he showed a great passion for art, so he always tried to pursue that dream at the edge of his primary studies. In addition to his fascination for art, Chau always showed a deep interest in the environment and in communities in need in Guatemala. All these interests influenced him to do community service as one of his hobbies.

After finishing high school, Javier decided to continue his studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He is currently pursuing his studies in Industrial Design, with minors in Sustainability and Kinetic Design. In the future, he dreams of one day, having his own company/organization to create unique pieces of furniture made from recyclable materials. In addition, this company would help generate jobs in low-income communities around the world.
