This still life of the face of the famous statue "Laocoon" was made by Rhodes sculptors Hagesander, Athenodoros, and Polydorus. In this still life, I wanted to study lights and shadows, and at the same time, emphasize the expression of agony and pain. The direct light directed to the face not only allowed me to observe the details of the illuminated parts but also allowed me to make a small study of shadows on the left side of the piece.
